From Austin, Texas...parents are Don and Peggy Vines... sister of Rawley Vines, who also plays golf at BYU...likes shopping and being with friends and family...recruited by Texas A&M, University of Texas, TCU, Baylor, California Berkeley, Oklahoma State, Arizona State and University of Arizona...won Utah State Women's Amateur in 2007.

Texas All-State three years in a row...all-region four years in a row...recieved two individual first place state tournament wins...best competitive round of 66 at the Roy Kizer Golf Course...in her senior year of high school won district, regional, and state competitions...FCWT third team All-American...won Texas/Oklahoma Junior...fourth place at AJGA Stars pf Texas Junior...second place at AJGA Valero Texas Open Junior...won STPGA State Jr. Championship...placed seventh at USGA Women's Amateur Qualifier...finished 12th at Arizona Silver bell '04...placed 15th at Arizona Silver bell '05...finished 58th at USGA Girl's Junior...finished 80th at USGA Women's Amateur.
