Boise State comes to Provo Saturday

PROVO, Utah – The BYU women’s tennis team continues its four-game home stretch as it hosts Boise State on Saturday at noon MST at the BYU Indoor Tennis Courts.

With a 5-2 victory over Nevada last week, BYU (3-0) is the last undefeated team in the West Coast Conference.

At the No. 2 singles position, junior Desiree Tran remains unbeaten. Sophomore Meghan Sheehan-Dizon, who plays at the No. 3 position, joins Tran at the 3-0 mark in 2013.

Rounding out at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions, freshman Nicolette Tran and senior Aubrey Paul also have not lost this season in singles.

In doubles play, the Cougars have won eight of their nine matches this year.

The Broncos (4-0) are also undefeated this year. Both Boise State and BYU topped a common opponent in Weber State earlier this season.

The Cougars are 12-3 against the Broncos all-time.

Spectators may park in the “Y” parking lots to the northwest and southwest of the courts. Pizza will be provided and admission is free.
