Last Miracle for LaVell to Air on KSL Saturday

Last Miracle for LaVell -- a documentary produced by Kevin Mitchell highlighting the final season of legendary Coach LaVell Edwards -- will premier on KSL TV Channel 5 on Saturday, October 5 at Noon between LDS General Conference sessions.

Last Miracle for LaVell is a behind-the-scenes look at the 6th-winningest football coach in NCAA Division 1 history. His last year was reminiscent of his 29 years as BYU's head football coach. His teaching style never wavered, and in private and off the field his stoic game face brought a smile to everyone he touched.

His final team wanted to send him out with a national championship or another major bowl bid, but an overwhelming travel schedule, injuries and inexperience almost resulted in just his second losing season of his career.

Led by the determination of Brandon Doman and clutch catches by Jonathan Pittman, the Cougars gave LaVell one last miracle versus arch rival Utah. A tribute to a coach who looked for miracles and found them, in his players, in his coaches on his way to taking BYU Football into national prominence.
