Time Change for Wednesday's Leadership Seminar

Due to the NIT basketball game between BYU and Bowling Green starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, the BYU Varsity Club Leadership Seminar has been moved up to 6 p.m.

Todd Christensen, former Oakland Raider All-Pro tight end and current sports television analyst, will speak at this month's seminar on March 15 in the auditorium of the Harold B. Lee Library at 6 p.m.

The event is free of charge and the public is welcome. For more information, contact Gary Pullins, BYU Varsity Club, at ext. 8-1365.

Christensen was a fullback at BYU beginning in 1974 and was the leading BYU receiver in 1975, 1976 and 1977. He was named the Most Valuable Player at the 1977 Blue/Gray Game.

In 1978 he was the second draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys before being traded to the Raiders. While with the Raiders he was a five-time All-Pro tight end from 1983 to 1987. He twice led the NFL in receiving (1983 and 1986).

Since retiring from football, Christensen has spent the last 10 years as a football television analyst for NBC and now ESPN. His broadcasting experience includes Super Bowls XXVI and XXVII, "Inside the NFL" for HBO and the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
