Varsity Preview

On Saturday, November 3rd, the BYU Cougar Club will sponsor the Varsity Preview. Like previous years this event will introduce the the 2001-2002 BYU basketball season.

The Varsity Preview gives all Cougar Club fans an opportunity to meet this year's team. The program for the evening will include a 40-minute intrasquad game and a three-point shooting exhibition at halftime. Mad Dog Cycles has donated a bike that a lucky Cougar Club Member will win. If you plan to attend the Preview and would like to enter the free throw contest for the bike, call the Cougar Club Office at 801-378-2583. We will randomly select five club members to participate.

Following the Preview, a team poster will be distributed, and the players will be signing autographs. The emcee for the event will be KSL Radio personality Greg Wrubell.

The Club has invited area youth groups (ages 12-18) to attend this event free of charge when they are accompanied by their advisor. To obtain the required pass for free admission, local religious and community youth leaders may contact the Cougar Club Office.

This event is also free to all season ticket holders; others may purchase a ticket for the event for $2.

Tip off will be at 7 p.m. in the Marriott Center.
