PROVO, Utah –After winning its first tournament in two years, the BYU men’s golf team is sending junior Zac Blair and sophomore Justin Keiley to the NCAA Regionals at Stanford May 17-19.

“It’s a testament to how well those two guys have played,” BYU assistant coach Todd Miller said. “Zac has played well the last three years, but we didn’t know Justin would get there, so that’s exciting.”

Blair led the way for the Cougars this season. After winning the first tournament of the 2011-12 season, Blair went on to finish in the top six in all but three tournaments. His 70.52 stroke average is good for third in the nation going into regionals.

Keiley did not participate in any fall tournaments, but came on strong early during the spring season. In his second tournament of the season, the North Ranch Intercollegiate Tournament, the sophomore finished seventh, 51 spots better than his best finish as a freshman. Keiley went on to finish in the top 20 in three of the final six tournaments.
