Olson, Hardy Named to NGCA All-Scholar Team

CHICAGO -- BYU senior golfers Lisa Dernick Hardy and Adrianne Olson were named to the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) Division I All-Scholar Team. They become the 12th and 13th academic All-American citations for the BYU women's golf program.

For Olson, this was her third consecutive All-American citation, while Hardy was named to the All-Scholar Team for the second consecutive season after transferring from the University of Texas before her junior season.

The criteria for selection to the All-Scholar Team are some of the most stringent of all college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 (3.40 for Junior and Seniors) and student-athletes must have competed in at least 66% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year. Hardy finished her BYU career with a cumulative 3.40 GPA while studying Mass Communications. Olson finished with a 3.43 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in Math Education.
