BYU To Take On No. 1 Stanford
With a solid start to conference play last week, the BYU women's tennis team will travel to Las Vegas to take on No. 1 Stanford, San Diego State and UNLV.
The Cougars will play Stanford on Thursday, San Diego State on Friday and UNLV on Saturday, all in Las Vegas.
BYU, at 8-6 on the year and ranked No. 35 in the nation, will face a Stanford team that is No. 1 nationally and has five ranked players, including No. 1 singles player Laura Kalvoria and three singles players in the top 11.
In doubles, Stanford is ranked No. 1 and 2 with Barnikow/Kalvoria taking No. 1 and Granville/Lastra taking No. 2.
BYU's Jodi Richardson is ranked No. 37, with the doubles team of Richardson and Ferney ranked No. 22 in the country.
San Diego State is ranked No. 54 and UNLV is ranked No. 76.
