This Canadian cager teamed with Richey on regular forward line last year. A player of great potential, Karren came up with some surprisingly sharp play in practically every tilt. He has excellent speed for tall cager, and he drives nicely under the basket. A product of BY high school, Tom made all-state in Utah before enrolling at BYU. He rebounds his share, and is fair defensive player. An ankle injury at the start of the season limited his action.
