Freshman Year 2001-2002

Nashif was the only true point guard backing up Matt Montague after the loss of Shawn Opunui to injury in the eighth game of the year ... with starter Matt Montague playing a team-high 37 minutes per game Nashif averaged 2.9 minutes while appearing in 21 games ... played one minute or less in nine games ... averaged 0.5 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game ... equalled his season high playing 10 minutes vs. Southern Utah, recording a high of 3 rebounds ... played 10 minutes against Fort Lewis, and had 2 points and 3 assists ... had 3 points, going 3-6 from the line, while playing five minutes vs. CSUN ... set a career high with 4 points in 4 minutes at Wyoming, going 4-4 from the line, a career-best percentage and personal best in free throws made... scored two points on two free throws in 2 minutes vs. UC Irvine in the NIT First Round victory.
