Born February 1978 ... has six brothers and one sister ... brother Lance played on BYU team (1995-99) ... father played basketball at Weber State ... brother Jared plays lacrosse at Harvard ... Jordan is one of the best lacrosse players in the country and was a high school All-American.

Before BYU

Was all-state as a senior at Landon School ... two time team MVP and all-league guard ... averaged 15 points as a sophomore, 20 points as a junior and 23 points his senior season ... averaged 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game his senior year.

Summary

Archibald redshirted last year and returns for his freshman season ... he has good size and is a good shooter ... he suffered a broken hand during the off-season and his preseason skill development and conditioning opportunities were further limited due to a fall groin pull.
