(Irvine Valley College): Burgess played in all 30 games, including five starts, in 2002-03 ... averaged 1.4 points and 2.0 rebounds as the backup center on the 21-9 (10-4 in league play) Lasers ... averaged 3.0 points and 2.6 rebounds in his five starts ... scored a high of six points in four different games, including six-point, four-rebound, two-assist effort against Glendal ... grabbed a season-high five offensive rebounds and six total rebounds against Canyons ... had season-best two assists in three games ... earned Dean's List academic honors ... coached by Jerry Hernandez.
