Before BYU: 1994 first team all-district and 1995 District 26-4A MVP at Lyndon B. Johnson High School...1995 All-Central Texas honorable mention...two time letterman in both volleyball and track.

1997-98: Played in 18 games...walked on the team.

Coach's Comments: "Babata made last year's team as a walk-on. She is very athletic and plays good defense. She gives 100 percent every day on the court, and this attitude of hard work adds a lot to our team."
