Daughter of Layne and Susan Whittaker ... sister Natalie played volleyball at BYU ... loves all kinds of Italian food ... originally from American Fork, Utah ... attended American Fork High School ... majoring in business and marketing ... favorite movies are "Hoosiers" and "Man From Snowy River" ... favorite books are "Les Miserables" and "The Work and the Glory" series ... her parents are the most influential people in her sports career because, "they rarely missed a game or a track meet. High School: Two-time American Fork High School MVP and winner of the American Fork Athletic Directors Award ... two-time All-Region and Academic All-Region and two-time All-State and Academic All-State.
Club: Helped her Utah Juniors Red Team to the 1993 Regional Championship.
