Parents are Thayne and Lola Dawn Wilson ... she is the second youngest in a family of five girls ... her parents and all of her sisters have thus far graduated from Provo High School ... she was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and her family moved to Texas and Northern California before settling back in Provo ... took ballet for seven years ... started playing volleyball in the seventh grade ... sister, Andrea, is an assistant volleyball coach at Provo High School and was on the 1992 State Championship team ... community health major.

Club/National: Played for the Utah Juniors in the Junior Olympic Tournament as a 15, 16 and 17-year-old, in New Orleans, Louisville and Salt Lake City ... competed as a member of the Intermountain High Performance Volleyball Team -- Regional IVA Volleyball in Salt Lake City (2000) and Europe (2001)... member of the Players Volleyball Club for two years (2001 and 2002), and was a teammate with current Cougars Lauren Richards and Lexi Brown her first year and Jenna Judkins and Erica Lott her second year ... her club won the National Championship in the 18 Club Division in 2002.

Played in 102 of 118 games and in 32 of 33 matches ... led BYU in kills (370) and attempts (901) ... had 20 double-digit kills matches on the year, and led the team in kills 15 times ... put down a career-high 29 kills against Saint Louis (9/6) ... was named MVP of the BYU Mizuno Classic after leading BYU to wins over Rice, Ohio State and then-No. 8 Penn State ... she collected double-doubles in all three matches of the BYU Mizuno Classic, including back-to-back 20-kill matches ... also named the all-tournament team at the SMS Dr. Mary Jo Wynn Invitational ... put up a career-high 17 digs, as BYU won after being down 0-2, vs. San Diego State (10/17) ... second on the team with seven double-doubles ... tied for ninth in the MWC averaging 3.63 kills per game ... notched three 20-plus kill matches on the season.
