Championship matchup with Valparaiso

After a dominant win over Saint Louis in the semifinal round of the Men Who Speak Up Main Event, BYU basketball will play Valparaiso in the championship game in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Wednesday at 9 p.m. PST.
The championship game will be televised live on ESPN2 and will be broadcast live on the Cougar IMG Sports Network, 102.7 FM/1160 AM and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143.
This is the second time in six games BYU has faced Valparaiso. The Cougars and Crusaders played in the semifinals of the 2016 National Invitational Tournament with Valparaiso coming out on top 72-70.

BYU’s big men were dominant against Saint Louis in the semifinals of the Men Who Speak Up Main Event as Eric Mika had 20 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks, Kyle Davis had 22 points on 10 of 13 shooting and Jamal Aytes had 12 points and 5 rebounds.
