Cougars return home to face Weber State

BYU basketball will look to get back in the win column when the Cougars take on in-state foe Weber State Wednesday in the Marriott Center at 7 p.m. MST.

The game will be televised live on BYUtv and broadcast live on the Cougar IMG Sports Network, 102.7 FM/1160 AM and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143.

BYU Storylines

  • BYU hosts Weber State in its third in-state game of the season. The Cougars are 1-1 so far against in-state teams with a 77-63 win against Utah State and a 114-101 loss to Utah Valley. Last season BYU defeated Weber State 73-68 at Vivint Smart Home Arena and Kyle Davis had 15 points and 8 rebounds.
  • Eric Mika scored a career-best 29 points against USC in the Staples Center. The sophomore shot 10 of 16 from the field and 9 of 11 from the free-throw line. For the season he is shooting 79.7 percent from the free-throw line, 18 percentage points better than what he shot as a freshman.
  • After missing the Utah State game with a knee injury, Kyle Davis returned to the lineup against USC and had 10 points and 5 rebounds. Davis is leading the team shooting 61.7 percent from the field.
