BYU Game Notes
BYU basketball will open the 2017 WCC Championships against No. 6 seed Loyola Marymount Saturday at 1 p.m. PST at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Saturday's game will be televised live on BYUtv and broadcast live on the Cougar IMG Sports Network, 102.7 FM/1160 AM and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143.

Three Cougars earned All-WCC honors.
Eric Mika and
TJ Haws were named to the All-WCC First Team and Haws and
Yoeli Childs earned All-WCC Freshman Team honors.

BYU is coming off an upset of then-No. 1 Gonzaga. The Cougars’ 79-71 win was the first in program history against the No. 1 team in the country.
Eric Mika had 29 points and 11 rebounds,
TJ Haws scored 17 and
Elijah Bryant added 14 points and five rebounds.

The Cougars are 2-0 against LMU this season. In the first meeting in Los Angeles, BYU overcame an 18-point deficit to win 81-76. In Provo, the Cougars won 85-77 and were led by Mika’s 27 points and Haws’ 19.
