Hansen Leads Team to Victory at Portsmouth Invitational

PORTSMOUTH -- BYU guard Travis Hansen scored 17 points to lead his team to a victory at the Portsmouth Invitational Thursday.
Hansen scored a team-high 17 points on 7-for-9 shooting, hitting his only three-point attempt, while going 2-for-2 from the line. The BYU senior also shared game-high honors with six assists and added five rebounds.
Hansen's team, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, defeated Beach Barton Ford, 92-83, during play Thursday at the annual NBA camp. Ugonna Onyekwe from Penn added 15 points and a game-high 13 rebounds while Stephane Pelle of Colorado contributed 15 points and nine boards in the victory.
Robert Jackson of Marquette led Beach Barton Ford with a game-high 18 points and pulled down a team-best 12 rebounds. Dan Miller from Notre Dame added 16 points, including 4-of-9 three-point shooting, and three assists.
