Divers Sweep MWC Weekly Honors

BYU divers Andy Bradley and Kelli Einfieldt garnered the MWC men's and women's Diver's of the Week awards. Bradley, a freshman state champion from Virginia, won his first MWC award after winning the 1-meter diving event at the USC Invite one week prior to the honor. This marks the fifth career award for Einfedlt, and her second this season, respectively. She also competed in the USC Invite the previous week and finished seventh in the 1-meter event.

Bradley placed first on the 1-meter springboard and second on the 3-meter springboard in the Cougar's dual meet with Pacific last weekend in Provo. On the 1-meter, Bradley scored 325.05, winning by a margin of 35 points. On the 3-meter, Bradley scored 335.55, one point behind All-American teammate Aaron Russell.

Einfeldt, a Salt Lake City, Utah, native swept the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events in both of the Cougars dual meets last weekend. On Nov. 16, she scored 236.48 on the 1-meter and 277.43 on the 3-meter against San Diego State. Against Pacific on Nov. 17, Einfeldt turned in scores of 237.53 and 270.23 on the 1-meter and 3-meter, respectively.

The Cougars have the week off before competing at the Speedo Cup in Long Beach, Calif. on Nov. 29.
