BYU Earns All-Academic Team Honors

PROVO -- The BYU men's and women's swimming and diving teams each earned All-American Academic Team honors from the College Swim Coaches Association of America this week for their academic achievements over the 2002-2003 season.

The Cougar men finished No. 2 academically in the nation with a team GPA of 3.35, only .03 behind No. 1 American University. It is the third time in five years that the Cougars have finished in the top five, including a No. 1 finish in 2000.

As for the women, the Cougars have managed earned the CSCAA All-American Academic Team honors every year but twice since 1986.
