Day One of Robison Invitational Concludes
PROVO -- At the conclusion of the first day of the Clarence Robison Invitational, Erianne Allen, from the University of Utah, leads the women's heptathlon with 3,165 points and Joey Tosta, of UC Santa Barbara, leads the men's decathlon with 3,446 points.
Two BYU athletes are among the leaders in the decathlon after five events. Noah Garfield is currently second with 3,286 points, just ahead of teammate Matt Weirich, who is third with 3,264 points after the first day of competition.
Another University of Utah athlete, Kristy Slade, is second in the heptathlon with 3,116 points and Olympic pole vault champion Stacy Dragila is third with 3,017 points after four events.
The lone Cougar competing in the heptathlon is Jennifer Rockwell, who is fifth after four events with 2,750 points. Rockwell is competing in the first heptathlon of her BYU career.
