Academic All-Conference

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A total of 53 student-athletes from both the men and women's track teams received honors for Mountain West Academic All-Conference after competing this spring semester.

BYU led the Mountain West Conference in academic honors with 125 out of 622 student-athletes receiving academic citations. The Cougar track and field teams garnished 32 awards for the men's team and 21 for the women's team.

Out of every BYU sport competing in the spring semester, the men's track and field team included the highest number of athletes named to Academic All-Conference.

To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at BYU while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
