Men's volleyball checks in at No. 2 in week six of coaches poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. — BYU men’s volleyball has been voted at No. 2 in this week’s NVA/AVCA coaches poll. This is the first time in the 2021 season the Cougars have been dropped from the No. 1 spot. 

University of Hawaii (4-0) will move into first place, receiving 15 of 16 votes, the other vote going to BYU (6-2). Pepperdine (6-2) will move up to No. 3 with No. 4 UC Santa Barbara (0-0) and No. 5 Lewis (8-2) rounding out the top five. The Grand Canyon ‘Lopes (2-4), who took a match off of BYU Feb. 25, have moved up to No. 6 for their highest ranking in program history. 

The Cougars will travel to California this week, at Concordia Irvine Mar. 4 at 7:00 pm PST and at USC Mar. 5 time TBD.
