Keohohou Named Softball West Top 10 Finalist

PROVO -- Three-time FIrst-team All-American Oli Keohohou has been named as a top-10 finalist for the Collegiate Player of the Year awared by Softball West Magazine and Akadema.

BYU fans can vote for Keohohou at www.softballwest.com and the winner will be announced in the July 2003 edition of Softball West Magazine.

This marks the inaugural year of the SWM/Akadema Collegiate Player of the Year Award. SWM's staff will closely evaluate the 10 players during the pressure-packed months of April and May. Key factors will include statistics, leadership qualities, and clutch hitting.

Keohohou finished fourth in the nation in home runs with 20 and third in home runs per game at 0.38. She finished 18th in the nation in batting average with .426 and 26th in the nation in RBI per game.
