- Caught 52 passes for 857 yards and seven touchdowns and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in 2011
- Played defensive back for Glendale, recording 45 tackles as a senior
- Also ran the 100-meters in 10.67 seconds and 200-meters in 21.4 seconds and finished seventh at the California state championship

- Made his first career-start against Nevada and recorded a career-high six tackles (all solo) and added a pass breakup in the win
- Recorded five tackles and had one tackle for loss and a pass breakup against Idaho State
- Saw extensive action at boundary corner against Notre Dame and had four tackles (three solo)
- Played in nine games as a defensive back and started two
Sophmore Year
2014
- Registered two pass breakups and career highs in total tackles (9) and solo tackles (8) vs. Nevada
- Earned letterman honors as a sophomore
- Played in all 13 games, starting eight of them
- Recorded 43 tackles on the season and six pass breakups
Junior Year
2015
- Phil Steele Preseason All-Independent Second Team
- Notched a season-high six tackles at Nebraska
- Against East Carolina, had one forced fumble and four pass breakups, tying the BYU single-game record
- Had five tackles including a half tackle for loss against Mizzou
- Had two pass breakups against Fresno State, upping his career total to 17
- Recorded one tackle for loss in the Las Vegas Bowl against Utah
