Played on the 1974 and 1975 CBL championship teams under coach Paul Womack (Redlands) at Redlands Senior High School...named All-CBL wide receiver two years...placed sixth in 330-low hurdles in CIF track finals.

Selected as receiver of the week against Utah...his first two receptions went for TDs against Weber State...one-third of his season catches were for TDs...two of his three receptions against Hawai'i were for TDs...caught four passes against Wyoming for 76 yards and one TD...was three for 47 and one TD against Colorado State...was three for 57 and scored two TDs against Utah...season stats: 21 receptions for 369 yards and eight TDs.
