Mother is Lena...served an LDS mission to London, England...married Pam Robinson...majoring in business.

Before BYU

Started playing quarterback as a junior at Alhambra High...as a junior he was the team's MVP and led an 8-1 squad to the Pacific League prep title...as a senior he was All-Area in the San Gabriel Valley...lettered four years in football and lettered in baseball...he was recruited by Rice University and BYU as well as many junior colleges...coached by Fred Whittingham (Cal-Poly).

Other College

At Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, was an All-American in 1974 and 1975...each year he threw for over 1,350 yards and broke nearly every school passing record...both years he ranked in the nation's top five of junior colleges in passing...in two years he completed 52 percent of his passes and threw for 19 TDs...in '75 he was All-league (ICAC) and beat the BYU jayvee, 46-21.

Was eight for 21 and 151 yards in the spring game...was backup QB to All-American Marc Wilson in '79...best outings last year include a seven of nine performance for 121 yards and two TDs against Weber State and nine of 11 for 97 yards against New Mexico for two more TDs...season stats: 26 of 37 passes, one interception, four TD passes for 331 yards.
