High School - An hnor student at Woods Cross High...lettered twice in football and three times in baseball...team offensive MVP...voted all-region...played free safety and wide receiver...coached by Larry Eldraucher.
Saw reserve action for BYU.
Was a starter at weak safety but suffered a neck injury in the opener against Pittsburgh and didn't return to action...worked hard in the off-season.
Played behind Scott Peterson at free safety...had six tackles...played on special teams.
Earned starting spot in spring practice.
