Before BYU

• Prepped at Springville High School in Springville, Utah
• Played both defensive and offensive line for the Red Devils
• Helped team to be Region Champions in 2015 and 2016
• Named 2017 All-State
• Recorded 63 tackles and 6.5 sacks as a senior in 2016
• Known for his physical, tough play on both sides of the ball
• Named Daily Herald Valley Player of the Year in basketball at Springville HS
• Averaged 15 points and 7.1 rebounds as a senior 
• Also recruited by Weber State and Southern Utah
