Born 5/7/72 in Torrance, California, to Gerhard and Melodie Bolli...served an LDS Church mission to Halifax, Canada from 1991-93...married Brooke Stanton (former BYU trackster who holds the school record in the 400 meters at 54.64) in May 1994...recruited by Hawai'i, Utah and Utah State...hobbies include biking, camping and water sports...is an Eagle Scout...majored in zoology and graduated last spring.
Before BYU
Lettered in football, basketball and track at Manti High School...all-region and all-state as a junior and senior and region MVP as a senior...all-region and all-state in basketball and state champion in the 300 m hurdles...coached by William Sullivan (BYU).
Was a reserve, but did not record statistics.
Ran track indoors and outdoors and recorded a season-best 23.25 in the 200 meters...caught a 16-yard pass from John Walsh at Air Force...caught a 16-yard pass from Steve Clements in the Utah State game.
Saw action in a couple of games.
