In the first year when freshman were allowed to play Division I football, Lynn had a big game against Colorado State, recording two receptions for 77 yards including a 41-yard touchdown reception.
Lynn will be remembered as the other half of the great catching duo of 1973 (NCAA reception leader Jay Miller was the other half) ... led the team in kickoff returns with 17 for 366 yards (21.5 average) ... one punt return for four yards ... had two rushes for 13 yards ... Academic All-Conference.
Caught one pass against Southern Mississippi for 16 yards.
