Career Summary

Alani Fua came to BYU as an All-American from Oaks Christian in California. He played in a total of 44 games, started in 18 and lettered all four years as a Cougar. He totaled 124 tackles, nine sacks and five interceptions during his career. As a senior, Fua was second on the team in sacks and notched a career-high eight solo tackles against Virginia. He helped BYU to a No. 20 national ranking for rushing defense in 2014. Fua received several award nominations and was named to a variety of All-Independent teams.
