Manoa Pikula came to BYU from Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah, as the No. 8 fullback national prospect by Scout.com. As a four-year letterman, Pikula played in a total of 49 games as a linebacker and on special teams. He recorded 144 total tackles, 81 solo tackles and five sacks during his career. As a senior, Pikula was No. 6 on the team in total tackles and was one of eight BYU players to register two or more sacks.
