Prepped at Wheat Ridge High...lettered three times in football and basketball and twice in track and volleyball...all-state selection as a senior...two-time all-conference in football and basketball...Jefferson County Player of the Year and All-American in football...MVP in basketball...helped team to four state championships...coached by Ed Stevens (CSU).

Had three tackles against Fresno State, including a tackle for a loss of 11 yards...had a solo tackle and a pass deflection vs. San Jose State...racked up three tackles and a QB hurry vs. the Aztecs...blocked a 30-yard field goal attempt by UTEP in the second quarter of that game to keep the Miners from claiming the lead heading into halftime.
