Career Summary

Aaron Wagner transferred to BYU from Washington State University after playing in all 12 games as a true freshman for WSU. Wagner was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the 2005 CFL draft, but returned to BYU for his senior year after suffering a season-ending injury as a junior. He ranked second on the team as a senior in tackles with 75, including 43 solos and 32 assisted takedowns. Wagner recorded a season-high 12 tackles in BYU's 38-0 win over Utah State and was invited to participate in the Texas vs. Nation All-Star game. He earned Best Conditioned Linebacker each of his three years at BYU and was awarded the Ultimate Warrior award for showing excellence on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
