• Fifth place in 800m at NCAA Championships, garnering first-team All-America honors
• Anchored fifth-place 4x400m at NCAA Championships, garnering first-team All-America honors
• Gold medalist recipient at 2015 World University Games in 800m as member of Team USA
• Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors
• Set new school record in the 800 meters (1:45.78)
• Best 800 time in the nation at the time he recorded it, ranked second heading into NCAA preliminaries
• Ran a 46.00 400 meters at the Robison Invitational—good for fifth all time in school history
• Anchored BYU's sprint medley relay team that had the second-best time in the nation (3:14.74)
• Anchored BYU's best 4x400m time (3:03.82)

Indoor

• Earned All-America First Team honors by taking third in the 800m (1:47.50) at the 2016 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships
• Broke his own BYU indoor school record for the 800 meters (1:46.97) at the Washington Invitational
• Took third overall in the 800  meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 1:47.50.
• Named to the USTFCCCA All-America First-Team
• Named 2015-16 Male Athlete of the Year at annual Y Awards

Outdoor

• Earned All-America First Team honors by taking third in the 800m (1:45.17) at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships
