Career Summary

Katie Manuma had a solid career at BYU in the infield. She finished her time at BYU in ninth in career RBI at BYU with 144. Her teammates named her the defensive player of the year in 2013, the same season when she was named to the All-PSCS Team and was named player of the week a few times. In the first season in the WCC, Manuma was named player of the week twice in the first four weeks. She tallied seven RBI against Seattle, which is tied for the second-most in a single game in BYU history. Additionally, she was at first base in both of triple plays that BYU has ever had.

  • Had a career high four hits and seven RBIs against Seattle in the Easton Desert Classic, while also earning the victory in the circle for the Cougars.
  • Hit two home runs to lead BYU over No. 2 Tennessee.
  • Hit the go-ahead two-RBI double against Hawai’i.
  • Had two home runs against Idaho State to help BYU to a series victory.
  • Hit a three-run home run to give BYU all the room it needed to beat Pacific in the series’ first game.
  • Hit a solo home run to tie the game at six in the top of the sixth against Pacific in the last game of the series.
