NCAA provisional qualifier in the outdoor 1500m at 4:24.04 in a photo finish with teammates Lindsay Jones (second) and Ashley Monahan (first) at the Mt. SAC Relays where all three earned NCAA provisional times...placed second in the WAC 1500m (4:25.75)...placed second in the 1997 USC Junior Championships, earning a place on the USA Jr. Team...placed fifth in the 1500m at the 1997 Pan Am Games in Cuba.

Sophmore Year 1998

the WAC indoor mile (5:02.67)...earned All-America honors with an eighth-place finish in the mile (4:47.29) at the NCAA Indoor Championships and with the distance medley relay team...qualified for NCAA Outdoor Track Championships...placed fourth in the WAC Outdoor Championships in the 1500m at 4:24.67...qualified for the Goodwill Games in New York based on her fourth-place finish at the USA Track and Field Championships in the 3000m steeplechase in 10:27.79.

Junior Year 1999

Took 12th in the 3000m with a time of 9:36.58 at the Stanford Invitational...at the Texas Relays in April, she finished 6th in the 3000m (9:44.79)...placed 15th at the Mt. San Antonio College Relays in the 3000m with a time of 9:29.24...was part of the 4x800m relay team that placed 2nd at the Penn Relays with a time of 8:29.60...ran a provisional-qualifying time of 9:26.84 at the Cardinal Invitational...placed fourth at the WAC Championships in the 3000m (10:02.64) and 11th at the NCAA Championships in the 3000m (10:05.24) to earn All-America honors...10th in the 3000m steeplechase at the USA Nationals in Eugene, Oregon

Ran a 2:13.34 for a 2nd place finish in the indoor 800m at the Idaho State Multi-Dual...finished 3rd in the indoor mile at the Mountain States Games...ran a provisional-qualifying time of 4:45.69 in the indoor mile at the Butler Invitational...won the mile race at the inaugural Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships with a time of 4:58.41...earned All-American honors while competing on the DMR team that placed 2nd at the NCAA Championships with a time of 11:11.45...redshirted the outdoor season.
