Steve Magleby is entering his third season in 2020 with the BYU women's soccer team as an assistant coach after joining in January 2018.

Magleby serves as director of coaching for Celtic Storm and Rangers FC, two top local Utah youth soccer clubs. He has also been working as the assistant coach for the BYU men’s soccer team since 2015 and is the BYU Soccer Academy Director.

The Maryland native was a former captain of the BYU men’s soccer team in 2002, 2005-09 and was a member of the Premier Development League Northwest Division Championship team in 2007. He graduated from BYU in Latin American studies in 2009.

Magleby served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in La Paz, Bolivia. In 2015, he received a diploma from the Catalan Coaching School in Barcelona, Spain.

He and his wife Dayna have six children.
