Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament

Swinging a golf club instead of a bat is the hope of several past BYU players at the upcoming first annual Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament.

The golf tournament for the former Cougar baseball players will be on Oct. 18 (Friday) at 10 a.m., on the Gladstan Golf Course, a 6,506-yard, par 71 course in Payson.

"Our past players were part of the building blocks and are important for the success we enjoy," said BYU Coach Vance Law. "We are trying to bring back as many players as we can for this Homecoming Weekend. We'll play golf, even though baseball is still a part of their life."

Interested baseball alumni should contact Ryan Roberts, BYU assistant baseball coach, at (801) 378-5048. If any former players haven't yet been contacted, please call our office and give us your current address.
