Law to Sing During Cubs' Game
For the third year in a row, BYU Baseball Coach Vance Law will be singing during the seventh inning stretch of a Chicago Cubs' game.
Law, who played for the Cubs from 1988-89, will be the featured singer of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," during the seventh inning on July 30 (Wednesday) when the Cubs host the San Francisco Giants. That game will be televised on the Fox Sports News Channel at 1:20 p.m. CDT.
"It's always fun to go back and do it from Harry Caray's booth," said Law, who begins his fourth season as BYU's head coach. "A couple of the families from our neighborhood are including this as part of their vacation, too."
Law will later return to Chicago on Sept. 4-6 to be a part of the 20-year reunion for the 1983 White Sox which won the American League West Title in "Turn Back the Clock Weekend" when they host the Cleveland Indians. Law played for the Sox from 1982-84.
