Shortstop Brennon Anderson Signs
Shortstop Brennon Anderson signed a letter of intent with BYU baseball this month as one of the first recruits for new coach Mike Littlewood.
Anderson, 5-foot-11 and 172 pounds, was first team all-state by both the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News for Jordan High School. His team won the region title and he was named region MVP in 2012.
“I am extremely excited Brennon decided to continue his playing career here at BYU,” Littlewood said. “Brennon is a 5-tool player who also has great baseball instincts. He plays the game the right way, and his passion and energy will be infectious to our team.”
Anderson was a team captain who batted .450 with 43 RBI and 17 doubles. Currently he plays summer ball for the Utah Bucks. Anderson’s father, Ron, played for Utah Technical College in the mid-1980s.
