KSL-TV to Air Saturday's BYU-Cal Game at 4 p.m.
PROVO -- The BYU Athletic Department announced Wednesday afternoon that Saturday's BYU vs. California football game will be broadcast on KSL-TV Channel 5 at 4 p.m. MDT. The game, originally slated to be an 11 p.m. tape-delay on KSL-TV, has been cleared to now be tape-delayed only 30 minutes after its scheduled 3:30 p.m. kick off.
As a result of the change, the game will no longer be broadcast via closed-circuit in the Marriott Center. Those who have purchased tickets can receive a full refund by returning the tickets to the Marriott Center Ticket Office or by mailing the tickets and a return address to the ticket office at: Brigham Young University, 2132 Marriott Center, Provo, UT 84602. The Marriott Center Ticket Office is open Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"We are pleased to be able to make last minute arrangements to have the game televised earlier on KSL-TV," said BYU athletic director Val Hale. "We owe a debt of gratitude to Dave Almstead at FOX Sports and the PAC-10 office for clearing the way for the telecast. We apologize to those fans who purchased tickets for the closed-circuit showing in the Marriott Center, but we are happy they can now enjoy the game with family and friends in the comfort of their homes."
