Jolley Named MWC Offensive Player of the Week
COLORADO SPRINGS -- The Mountain West Conference announced today BYU senior tight end Doug Jolley has been named the MWC Offensive Player of the Week.
Jolley set a Mountain West Conference record with 177 yards receiving on a career-high 10 receptions in leading the Cougars (7-0, 3-0) to a 63-33 win over Air Force on Saturday. Jolley caught three touchdown passes, all from 18 yards out, in the game to become the first BYU player since 1992 to grab three scoring TDs in a contest. Jolley is the first-ever tight end to capture MWC Offensive honors.
Jolley is the fourth BYU player to garner MWC Player-of-the-Week Honors this season.
