Construction Crew Reaches Milestone

Construction crews placed the final steel beam on the new Student Athlete Complex on Thursday. Over the last 3 1/2 weeks, crews erected 550 tons of steel.

The new complex, which is about a week ahead of schedule, will be finished in November, 2003.

It will house athletic administration offices, the student-athlete academic center, weight room, training room, football locker room, football administrative offices, team meeting rooms, and a nutrition center.
