Boise State Game Moved to Oct. 31
PROVO -- Mountain West Conference officials today announced BYU's game against Boise State, originally scheduled for Friday, Nov.7, has been moved to Friday, Oct. 31. The game will be broadcast to a national television audience on ESPN. The time has yet to be determined.
"I am pleased we were able to put the final piece into the scheduling puzzle," BYU athletic director Val Hale said. "This will be the most challenging, yet exciting, schedule we have ever had at BYU.
In addition to providing national-television exposure, the schedule change will afford BYU an important off week prior to its final two games of the season (at Notre Dame, Nov. 15 and in Provo against Utah, Nov. 22.)
"This new change should help us heal up and be better prepared for our final two games against Notre Dame and Utah," Hale added.
Hale also said University officials have determined this year's Homecoming game will be a nationally-televised appearance against Colorado State on Thursday, Oct. 9.
