Spring Season Concludes With Instate Tourney

PROVO, UT. (April 2, 2003) The spring season for the Cougars' women's soccer team finishes up with the BYU Tournament on Friday, April 11, at South Stadium. All of the Utah's women's soccer college programs are scheduled to compete in the day-long event.

The tournament games will consist of two 25-minute halves with a five-minute half time. All games are scheduled to start on the hour and can end in ties.

BYU opens the day hosting UVSC at 9 a.m., followed by a contest between Utah State and the University of Utah at 10 a.m., with Weber State and Southern Utah kicking off at 11 a.m. In the afternoon, Utah and Weber State play at 1 p.m, followed by USU and UVSC at 2 p.m. The Cougars play again at 3 p.m. in a match up against Weber State. At 4 p.m., it's SUU and Utah with the concluding game featuring BYU and Utah State.

The annual Alumni Game is set for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. All soccer games are free and open to the public. South Stadium is located south of the Smith Fieldhouse. In case of inclement weather, the games will be played in the Richards Building Turf field
