Second Quarter

The Bulls drove to midfield in seven plays before the end of the first quarter. Starting the second quarter, they were aided by a defensive holding penalty on 4th down, setting them up at the BYU 13. The Bulls rattled off a second touchdown drive on their ensuing possession, going 54 yards in six plays to make it 35-20 on Jaren Magham’s two-yard touchdown run with 3:03 remaining in the quarter.

Completions of 13, 27 and 14 from Baylor Romney to Pau’u, Nacua and Issac Rex took the Cougars down to the USF 5-yard line before the end of the third quarter.
